👨 👋 About Brian: Brian is 63 and has been part of the Sunnybank community for over 10 years. He takes part in several clubs, but outdoor bowling is one of his favourites. He’s a friendly, supportive member of the group and loves helping new people get involved.

☀️ Sunshine and Smiles - Bowling at the Park by Brian 

Here's Brian’s Blog, sharing in his own words, how outdoor bowls feels for him:

👍 What I like most about Bowling Club: I like the park. I know that every Tuesday I will be having a game of bowling, taking part with my friends and rolling the ball to the jack.

😊 How it makes me feel: I feel happy to go, it makes me feel healthy. I also feel proud when I hit the jack, I know I am improving each time I go. I like the progress I make, I’ve got the hang of it.

👭 What I most enjoy: I like to help new people. I also like to do the score board and flip over the numbers.

❤️ It's important to me: I like to get out and about, playing with my friends, Alex, Mark and Julie. I like to go to the café and get plain crisps and a diet coke.

🏅 My idea to make the Bowling Club even better: I would like to do a competition and make a Sunnybank team and for the Mayor to present a medal or cup. Ive won certificates before and I like winning.
