Communications Coordinator
2.5 days, flexi time/homeworking
Circa £25,000 (FTE, pro rata)
Epsom, Surrey

The Sunnybank Trust is a vibrant community charity that believes that people with learning disabilities should be able to live their lives the way they choose and have the same opportunities as everyone. The Communications Coordinator will be joining at an exciting time of the charity’s development, as we move towards becoming a user led organization

We are looking for someone engaging and passionate about supporting people with LD who can help us achieve this vision by developing and implementing a creative and accessible communications strategy to our stakeholders. The Coordinator will work closely with the CEO across all communications and marketing activities. Key responsibilities include: Delivering and developing a communications strategy focused on increasing visibility and understanding of the organisation and the issues of learning disabilities; managing our online and social media platforms and ensuring all processes adhere to GDPR regulations.

Choices Officer
21 hours, flexi time
Circa £15,000
(As whole role, job share or carved to suit the skills of the applicant)

The Sunnybank Trust is a vibrant community charity that believes that people with learning disabilities should be able to live their lives the way they choose and have the same opportunities as everyone; as such we are taking positive action to diversify our workforce and encourage applications from those who have firsthand experience of a learning disability.

The Choices Officer will be joining at an exciting time of the charity’s development, as we move towards becoming a user led organization. The aim of the Choices service is to create social opportunities for people with learning disabilities to make friends, try out new experiences and feel good about themselves.

The Choices Officer reports to and supports the Choices Manager to ensure the smooth running of all activities of choice as well as increase the number of people involved with the social clubs(Kites and Swag) and outings. The key areas of work are:
– Administration including data entry
– Marketing and publicity
– Helping set up and run activities at the clubs – this requires lifting
– Planning and scheduling activities for club nights

The successful applicant will be subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service enhanced check. This post is part funded by The National Lottery Community Fund as part of the Sunnybank Voices, Choices, Futures project.
