Over the last few weeks I have done several pieces of work including a Greek salad poster for the Mamma Mia night that was held on the 8th of November.
I had to research the ingredients for the Greek salad.
I attended my first staff meeting to discuss the progress of Sunnybank.
2nd of November was a busy day because I had my welcome to Sunnybank treat at Creams. I had a Ferrero Rocher milkshake which filled me up and I could not even finish it!
Also, I have been preparing for Christmas by making a poster for the carol service and planning the Christmas lunch. I had to research different restaurants to find the best choice for accessibility, location and menu options. Once a decision was made, I went to book a table, this is something I have never done before so this is a whole new experience!
Another new experience was going to the post office and asking for a letter to be sent by special delivery.
This is helping me with my confidence and helping me with talking to new people.
Last week I helped with the layout design of the Noticeboard in the waiting room and now the posters stand out. Also, people now can read about the services of Sunnybank.
Since booking the table for the Christmas lunch I have been collecting people’s orders for the Christmas meal.
I have been busy doing all things festive including printing the programmes for the carol service, doing a Christmas stock check of all the wrapping paper and ribbons for the gift wrapping in the Ashley Centre and even taking a Santa costume to the dry cleaners!!
I will keep you updated with my progress.
