As retired printing engineer, Bill spent all his working life on newspaper printing presses and ancillary printing equipment for national newspapers.
Bill became involved in Sunnybank following an appeal to help set up a registered charity to help people with learning disabilities in our local area. It became very apparent to him that there was a great need to help the learning disabled following the closure of the Epsom Cluster of hospitals in and around the Epsom area. Bill has been involved with The Sunnybank trust since it’s initial inception as The Ebbisham Association, and he has been incredibly successful in recruiting volunteer Sunnybank Friends.
Bill has a great passion for most sporting activities, encouraging his grandchildren to take part in any sporting activity, as well as being a keen gardener.
